Some are not necessarily poetry as I would imagine it so much but still resonated and felt they belonged in this collection. And yet I am still thinking about you pretty much all the time, which is strange because I didn’t know you at all, in real life. I’m a big believer in singing loudly in the car whenever possibleand I love pulling alongside a fellow diva doing the same. This collection is about dealing with those feelings, dealing with the trauma of loss, accepting the status of loss, healing the wounds, the scars and scabs left by loss.Who was your first celebrity fan and how does it feel to have all these household names enjoying your poems? Donna does this beautifully and leads us to a peace where grief and love coexist and perhaps describe the other. A short funeral poem by Helen Lowrie Marshall about happy memories living on after a loved one has gone. That our greatest joys will not come in our accomplishments, or from how we look, but from making and enjoying memories with those we love.
