About this deal

I am really impressed with this very simple yet effective applicator and have already had many comments from other parents when they have seen the children using this themselves. Solar Buddies are an answer to no more sticky hands and will make beach days, or sun holidays abroad for that matter, a lot easier for families.

As mummy to a very pale Ginger, I’ve always worried about him being able to apply Suncream himself at school. I filled our son’s cream from his spray bottle, not realising you aren’t advised to use spray creams in Solar Buddies. Do not use with Ambre Solaire or P20 applications as the ingredients in these products may affect the Applicator. To fill this bottle you unscrew the bottle of the applicator, pour in/squeeze in your sun cream and then screw back up again.Since the ‘No Touch Policies’ in schools, this has been an easy, effective and fun way for children to be protected. Our advice is to use a sunscreen that has both UVA and UVB protection and to always follow the advice of the manufacturer. Like most parents, Charlene knows that leaving the house with SPF protection is a must - but some children might struggle with the cooling senses and refuse to wear the skincare essential. Mothers Lauren and Kelli have launched a new product, Solar Buddies, which aims to make sun cream application easier and cleaner for young children.

It really is that simple, in fact, it’s almost child’s play to apply and my children now no longer fight over having to put their cream on and instead happily to it for themselves. The rollerball evenly distributes the cream onto your skin and the sponge ensures it is rubbed in fully giving complete and full coverage. Now, I’m not sure if your children are the same as mine but the application of sun cream always brings about complaints, arguments and almost a wrestling match in a bid to get it applied all over but it needs to be done to keep the children safe from the suns harmful UV rays and to stop them from getting burnt. The best friends from Cwmbran in Wales created Solar Buddies, a refillable, roll-on sunscreen applicator.

I like using the applicator myself, as you're not left with a dollop of cream and nowhere to put it.

We set up Solar Buddies after having a conversation about sunscreen and policies when it came to children protecting themselves while in school. Laura and Kelli’s most memorable mistake came after they were approached by a potential health sector client who wanted to work with them but felt their brand wasn’t quite ‘right’. After a conversation at the school gates, Kelli and Laura decided to take matters into their own hands. Mrs Hinch never fails to impress with her affordable hacks, from her cleaning must-haves to her '10 out of 10' tanning drops – and the cleaning influencer's latest recommendation is a must-have for families this summer.

Definitely recommend for any parents wanting to put sun cream on their kids in a quick and fuss free way. With our Tracked Airmail service you may be required to pay import taxes or customs calculated by your local customs authority. The applicator has a roller ball, with sponge padding for extra comfort, to allow easy application and absorption of sun cream for children.
