About this deal

The only thing is that they use the good 12" Disco Remix of Relight My Fire (6:46) from 1980 and not the great original mix with the long intro of Loleatta Holloway: Vertigo / Relight My Fire (9:44) from 1979, mixed by John Luongo. Disc 1 kicks off with one of the most enduring songs ever from the legendary ABBA with ‘Mamma Mia’ and continues with back-to-back No. Seller has stated it will dispatch the item within 1 working day upon receipt of cleared payment - opens in a new window or tab . It was described as acceptable so I was expecting it to be badly damaged , but for 1p I took a risk, It was only dented a bit on the side and it was hardly noticeable i was well happy.

Jackson 5, Billy Ocean and The Real Thing bring the first disc to a close – but not before some stomping glam pop from Sweet, Mud, Wizzard and T.Huge club tracks from Dan Hartman and Grace Jones lead into the captivating ‘Like An Eagle’ from Dennis Parker, and Cher literally takes Disc 3 home with her 1979 12” smash. As well as picking up litter on Wimbledon Common, The Wombles were the pop sensations of 1974, and ‘The Wombling Song’ kicks the last disc off – Boney M. to 1-11 are also found on Various - Extended Seventies - The Dawning Of The 12 Inch Era, of which the new wave disc is said to have vinyl transfers. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). Throw in a smattering of post-punk and new wave gems, plus arguably the greatest end-of-night anthem of all, Wings' 'Goodnight Tonight' (the extended version of which gets brilliantly dubbed-out in the middle and is far superior to the seven-inch mix) and you have a rock-solid collection of club-ready '70s sing-alongs.

The collection closes with three of the greatest anthems to evolve from the collision of amazing Soul vocals and a Disco dance-floor: Diana Ross with the 12” Version of ‘Love Hangover’, Gloria Gaynor’s timeless ‘I Will Survive’, and signing off with ‘Don’t Leave Me This Way’ with the legendary vocals of Thelma Houston. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Credit subject to status, UK residents only, Juno Media Limited acts as a broker and offers finance from PayPal credit. Whether you're looking for your favourite band's newest release, a compilation CD, or a classic album - you'll find what you need in our categories. Pop-Disco crossover hits from Marshall Hain, Patsy Gallant and Dollar feature, along with the smooth soul of ‘Rock Your Baby’ from George McCrae - and there’s still room for Jigsaw (‘Sky High’), Pilot (‘Magic’) and the No.

Highlights on Disc 3 include pop idols Donny Osmond, Bay City Rollers, Michael Jackson and David Essex, alongside unforgettable pop-reggae from Janet Kay with ‘Silly Games’, and the No. Mull Of Kintyre’ from Wings makes the perfect song to conclude our journey through the pop goldmine of the 1970s. Electronic Disco opens Disc 2, with the superb long version of ‘Beat The Clock’ from Sparks, Cerrone’s ground-breaking ‘Supernature’ and dance-floor smash ‘From East To West’ by Voyage.
