Like a tidal wave, I was pulled under by this authors spell as this book literally got its hooks into me from just that first page. I would of wanted to see how that developed and turned out like them bending her and making her submit.

If Roxy wants to stay alive in the clutches of the Vipers, she has to find a way to escape, and if the Vipers think she’s going to be compliant, she’s not. I did not understand the whole inner darkness of Garrett and Diesel, just psycho dudes thrown at your face for no reason, the girl deserved them, she’s the most annoying one. I actually do like really dark stories and the fact that so many of the negative reviews were complaining about it being too dark made me want to read it more.Cada um tem seu problema, cada um é quebrado da sua maneira mas no final tudo mundo se completa de um modo que nem eles mesmos conseguem explicar. I have read a decent amount of dark romance but I stumbled into this one and am just shocked by how they truly and genuinely have tortured, raped, and murdered people and just been like "meh that's us! There are better books out that that have the dark romance element without going overboard in such a cheesy and macabre way.When they were able to capture her, they took her back to their apartment, and even when she a captive, they treated her well enough by captivity and Viper standards. What I appreciated about the FMC is how she acknowledged her crappy upbringing and how much her dad did truly care little about her. Between the female character and male characters, you will find yourself wanting to binge-read at times, laugh, cry, and cheer for the female character at times too. Some things could have been cut, and the book would have been more satisfying without some dialogue and certain scenes.

Most the time it doesn’t sound like they even glanced at the text before they read it having zero clue about who the characters were or how they interacted. The Vipers, Ryder, Kenzo, Diesel, and Garrett, never expect that fierce kick-butt Roxy will fight back at them at every turn. Don’t let the size of this book intimidate you because you’ll fly through it and won’t even realize that you read half of the book in one sitting. Out of all of the dark/taboo romances you could recommend, THIS is the one y’all are talking about 😭?Oftentimes in fiction that contains BDSM it does not cover aftercare which is a super important part, I’m grateful that this book does have that.

All of the guys are very different yet they fit together like a well oiled machine, and even though the story would have been fine with only Roxy telling it, the guys’ POV allows for us to really understand their pains and past that would have been more difficult to pick up with only Roxy. He once fell in love and it went bad and he was betrayed, so he is determined not to make that mistake again no matter how much he wants Roxy. He shows it in many ways but especially when he is getting information from someone in the basement of their building. Not to mention, I liked how she acknowledged her faults but did not let them define or persuade her in any way.I liked the storylines, first about the Roxy as a captive, then about their problems with the triad.
