The shade is suppose to be “translucent” but I wouldn’t agree with that; it is a fair shade – lighter than my skin tone and brightening. It does have that scented talc smell to it, it doesn’t bother me but some people might be out off by it. It used to be fluffy and now it is compact and more something I would anticipate getting with a pressed powder. It will mattify you GOOD, to the point where you may not need a single touch up in an 8 hour day, so if you are a dewy skin lover or a au natural type, this might be too much for every day wear.
