About this deal

Would have been able to cope normally but it was absolutely scorching and packed by the time I managed to get on a train! Here in a combined group of Standard 5-6 pupils in 1937, she is seated second from left in the front row. Had a lasagne that night - they used to be the tastiest thing at Tocketts but now they unfortunately lack flavour and meat. We then sat around waiting for someone to come and collect the plates and cutlery for around 10/15 minutes and then sat for another 20/25 minutes without being asked if we want to see a desert menu or even if we would like to pay the bill! The Royal Observatory at Greenwich is the home of time and space, the Prime Meridian and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

Tho out of nearly the same era, but in the rural Pacific Northwest of America, we were much less posed -- in fact my school pics usually looked like a hodge-podge of kids. Visitors arriving at the Observatory in the summer are often confused by the apparent delay shown on the Shepherd Gate Clock but as Britain’s first public clock to show GMT, we’re proud to continue this tradition," she says. Understandable given the government's Eat Out scheme but would have been nice to at least finish my sentence.

This means for example that from 2004 onwards the index will include the names of anyone born in 1924 who died at any date thereafter. The Rangiora School held its 125th Jubilee reunion in 1998 and my father attended the event, although he really didn't enjoy it, as he didn't remember anyone from such a long time ago, having left the country in 1956 and having little or no contact with any of the other students since. good luck and jeanette go now for gawds sake as if you like me the motion of the train will make you want to go even more! The food was faultless, however the service has been really poor on the past two visits during August.

All except one have been identified by staff at the local Rangiora museum and their names are attached to the photograph, but I won't include them here, as I know at least 3 of them are still with us, now aged in their early 90s. Over all the food was great drinks were great and the other staff all seem well mannered and fit well in the role that they play in the business. We found it refreshing that the staff weren't wearing masks or visors etc - a pleasant break from reality. No waiter came over and asked about the quality of the food till we were at least 2/3 of the way through (the meal was perfect but that’s beside the point). The girl in the spotted dress in the 3rd row is smiling, and a couple of other children have the glimmer of a smile, including my father, but the great majority of the others are downright scowling and certainly look like they are not enjoying their school days at all.

Her mother Doris didn't drive, so unless the dancing school had a bus, Frank would have had to take Mary to perform at the various venues around the countryside.

The Chips were again the best I've tasted in years, clearly double or treble cooked and a lovely dark brown. A great selection of photographs to match the theme - especially that first one - a student group and hardly a smile amongst them,! Do you know how to improve your language skills❓ All you have to do is have your writing corrected by a native speaker! He appears in a photograph taken at the reunion, although his name was omitted from the identification list that comes with it, which perhaps confirms that other attendees from his year did not remember him either. Great environment to chill out and another good experience, despite being extremely busy due to the Gov' special offer.
