L'aventure by Al Haramain Eau De Parfum Spray (L'aventure Knight)

I can't compare it to Aventus, because I've never smelled, but in comparison to another clone, Supremacy Silver by Afnan, I think this one smells better, the opening isn't as harsh. The bergamot and lemon and the most prominent citrus notes, sour, sharp, and very fresh; the elemi adds a fresh, spicy, and resinous touch, but soft; the woody notes are also noticeable, they add a smoky accord that blends well with the elemi and citrus notes. It’s actually stronger but still not as strong as I would like but I just spray more since it is such a good value. My gym buddy even asked me if it today was an Aventus day when she smelled me on the treadmill next to her (she knows that I am into fragrances and her husband wears Aventus so she knows this one). My 2022 Aventus is sweeter, more elusive and lighter than both CDNIM and L'Aventure but also is less intense, does not project and does not last at all.

This is a winner for me for fruity freshness, forgetting about comparisons this is a good fragrance with moderate projection and stays on my skin for hours it will perform a lot brighter and longer if sprayed on clothing to. A few people have mentioned a slight "green" vibe going on despite the notes being mostly light and citrusy. This is high performer on me and I would say that you need to test it on your skin and only then make a decision. Its "lemon" top-note actually smells a lot like Aventus pineapple, but then the whole thing dries up and dies off in about 30 minutes max.You could say it's in the same fragrance ballpark, but it does not smell the same as Aventus or Explorer. When I smell the perfume, it makes me think of an arab sheikh sitting on a table full of money and smoking cigar haha. Well, CDNI has way more smoke, and if clones don’t have pineapple in the opening in my opinion, it’s not a true clone of CA.

It's hard to argue that, once into the drydown, L'Aventure Intense isn't a very good smelling scent. OK, below here there seems to be a lot of people complaining this doesn't last and doesnt project, you're wrong, period, it does. Some say there's reformulation and that the intense is beast mode, but I have no direct knowledge on any of this.It gets me positive attention and I too wear this casually and save my aventus for special occasions.

All that to say, I still need to find a bottle of Aventus to experience, and critique it for myself. I love your fragrances (I own so many Al haramains) but something is ridiculously wrong with this batch. In comparison, to Club De Nuit Intense Man (CDNIM) L'Aventure takes out the ambroxan and smoke, therefore it's more mass appealing.Mine is a new bottle, people comment on over 3 hours after I've applied it, I spray on my arms, not the neck as you go nose blind. I like it that it does not have a pineapple in it as it is something that I do not like about Aventus and the clones.

Update 2: I finally got around to testing my sample of L'Aventure Blance that was included with my purchase. L’aventure and CDNIM both smell like the better batches of Aventus that Creed use to make a few years back which is why I own both of them because It’s like owning 2 different batches of Aventus to me lol I love both of these tho.Whether that scent was the "King" Aventus or one of its many clones, I will never know but all I know is this is my favorite scent. I get decent performance with this one and if you don’t care about a pineapple opening then you’d probably love this one.
