About this deal

We follow all three candidates through their orientation, training and ultimately their “thesis” which translates into how to apply all they have learned in executing their plan, failing which has its own set of consequences.

Welcome to the McMasters Conservatory for the Applied Arts – a luxurious, clandestine college dedicated to the fine art of murder where earnest students study how best to “delete” their most deserving victim. It took me a bit longer to read Murder Your Employer: The McMasters Guide to Homicide than I’d figured initially. Wonderful idea, lacked execution, and the last section feels like it was a cut chapter the author insisted on including, rather than a proper ending. narfna on “What the stories never said: at the end of the day, if a man wants to kill you, he kills you. This piece, part textbook, part novel, and even with a slice of journal, offers the reader a varied view on murder and how to execute it properly, if you will pardon the pun. We follow three protagonists who for very different reasons want/need to become “deletists” (NEVER “murderers”), and follow them as they learn secrets of the craft at the McMasters Conservatory of Applied Arts.

I came to really care for the characters and was rooting for their success in their deletions as their employers were truly awful people.Baltimore engineer Cliff Iverson, British hospital worker Gemma Lindley, and incognito Hollywood star Dulcie Mown may hail from different walks of life, but all are at McMasters for the same reason: to learn how to kill their sadistic employers without getting caught. Decent character development brings Cliff Iverson to life and helps shape those with whom he comes in contact. Dust jacket hand covered in protective archival grade Mylar for years of worry free collecting/reading!
