UPDATE: The middle and base notes just kicked in about 30 minutes later - all I can say is wow, it really is heavenly. I have lived with this perfume for a long time and I couldn't objectively describe why it transcends, in me, the expectation and sensations provided by a mere fragrance, probably because it is an art that only the human spirit is capable of producing. Every time I label it in my mind as a simple fragrance I completely underestimate it and don't do it justice. I mean, the notes are there, it's just that the whole scent is starting to feel soapy, indefinite and synthetic to some extent. Reminiscent of a spicy cologne but it’s got its own signature, something very different and sexy about it.My relationship with him has been kinda rocky in the past, is just now starting to improve, so I have mixed feelings about this fragrance cus I associate it with him. It is particularly suited for environments like offices and gyms, where a subtle and non-invasive scent is preferred. There's no hint the fragrance was created back in 1993 (in fact it reminds me of The Shard - sideways on it's actually triangular).
