About this deal

Naturally, Vapers are not the only people that need battery chargers, but Nitecore knows that of all the various batteries that are rechargeable, the “Vape Battery” (18650, 18500, 18350, 26650) are a big part of their client base. Designing a new and improved i4, the engineers at Nitecore had Vapers in the forefront of their ideas for upgrades and improvements. Note: I didn't have the unit plugged in for these shots, which is why you don't see any of the indicator lights lit up.

NitecoreIntellicharger i4 is a smart and universal charger that can charge several types or rechargeable batteries. The chargers run at their max CC cycle initially. I am not sure of the termination method being used, but it looks like it could simply be based on cell voltage. The recommended termination method for NiMH is dV/dT, which is based on a characteristic increase in the positive slope of voltage versus time. As before, this does not seem to be the case here. Notice anything? I immediately spotted a few things in customer photos posted on social media before i even had one to play with. The positive posts on the charger are too far sunk into the casing and don't sit flush with it either. There are gaps all around them, the genuine ones are a tight fit. On arrival, it's more pronounced than i thought. They're also very uneven wobbly. We'll see why later... This intellegience charger can identify different type of batteries (Li-ion, Ni-MH, Ni-CD) and apply the correct charging mode. Compatible with 18650 vaping mod batteries. Also compatible with 26650, 22650, 22500, 21700, 20700, 18500, 18490, 17670, 17500, 18350, 16340, 14500, 10440, AA, AAA, and C type rechargeable cells.

On Li-ions, overall performance seems similar to the early versions, with a good CC/CV-like algorithm (and with a nice and low charging rate at termination).TIP. Προτιμήστε να τον χρησιμοποιήσετε με ένα εξ. τροφοδοτικό 12Vdc 2~3A και πάνω θα ζεσταίνετε λιγότερο και θα σας κρατήσει ποιο πολυ καιρο!. Expanded compatibility to support 3.7V and 4.35V batteries allows you to charge a host of batteries with a single charger. Compatible with 1.2V, 3.7V, 4.2V and 4.35V. By simple operation with the V button, it is easy to set the charging voltage in each slot independently. Another cool improvement with the new Nitecore i4 is how users can now mix and match their 3.7v batteries and 4.2v batteries. Using the “V” button on the charger the user can set the charging voltage in each slot, independently. Being able to set the voltage to 3.7v or 4.2 for our cells means extending the life of that battery, which have notoriously short lifespans anyway.

At the end of the day, these are incremental upgrades to the Intellicharger line from Nitecore. I think these chargers still offer good value for the money - especially compared to discount "budget" chargers that cost almost as much, but with unknown charging algorithms. They are also particularly useful for less sophisticated users who are just starting to use Li-ions (and may thus inadvertently try to charge NiMH and Li-ion on the same device - a real no-no on just about every other charger!). Apologies for the delay! Its been a busy week and I've been keen to get on this but the needs of the business must come before the explanation of a competitors failings!I will be using Eagletac 3400mah 18650s with this light. If for some reason I shouldn't please tell me. but, I have used these batts before with my SRT7 that got stolen the other day, so I do like these batteries. I figure it is best to have 4 fresh cells, so I will be buying 4 even though I still have a few from the Srt that have a bunch of cycles on them already.
