About this deal

I do not see how it could hurt but I just thought I would ask the org before I put it in next weekend any advice would be appreciated! With different types of glycol, water, and additive technologies, the chance of cross-contamination or an adverse reaction in the solution is very high. The first of these to reach a decision was in Missouri where a settlement was announced early in December 2007. This exposes hot engine components to air and vapors, causing corrosion and contamination of the coolant with iron oxide particles, which in turn can aggravate the pressure cap problem as contamination holds the caps open permanently.

The benefit of this is that the coolant can't maintain bubbles, they break up and flow through the system rather than sticking to the walls of the cooling passages. It is not dangerous, it will just cause the fluid not to operate at maximum levels and may cause unwanted build up. So after flushing I should keep refilling, cycling between running the engine and allowing it to cool to let the coolant settle until the overflow bottle Cold mark is reached, right?Fresh fluid is the best fluid in any powersports application, so proper maintenance of the coolant system is essential for maximum performance and peace of mind. Based on the attached image, then the following should not be used (yes, I realize depending on color is problematic): green, yellow or purple. Flushing the system as directed is the best way to ensure your new coolant performs at its best and provides dependable results for best results, flush with Engine Ice Flush Treatment or an equivalent product. I refilled this one again with Dex-Cool and ran an additional 55,000 miles with no problems before selling it. Twisting the throttle in the canyons, sitting in traffic on your commute, or even seeing what your bike can do during a track day, Engine Ice is the coolant for you to keep your bike running its best.

Engine Ice is there to ensure your sled has all the power and reliability to give you the best experience on your adventure. To err on the side of caution, tomorrow, I am draining and flushing the cooling system because I don’t want adverse effects from mixing improper coolants. Harmful impurities and contaminants can cause scaling and other forms of corrosion within the walls of the hoses, radiator, and water pump. In your case you wish to change colors so you need to empty the content of the overflow bottle manually.According to internal GM documents,[citation needed] the ultimate culprit appears to be operating vehicles for long periods of time with low coolant levels. While it's true, you won't lose coolant; your engine components will get to temperatures that they are not designed for and could ultimately lead to engine failure. Granville has the manufacturing capabilities to provide a variety of high-quality grade vehicle-specific lubricants all meeting the latest technical specifications.

Difference between this and the Red Line Super Cool is the Engine Ice has a lubricant for the pump in it. If your thermostat isn't fully open, that means your car is just recirculating it's own hot water because it doesn't want to run any cooler. Although I use Motorex motor oil, and I even spend stupid money for stuff like Magura Blood, I don't think I would ever pay the extra coin for Motorex antifreeze. Right out of the bottle” Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant is ready to provide you with dependable horsepower.Wetting agents have been around since the steam engine days and they help with reducing corrosion, increasing heat transfer both a good thing. not sure but after reading on Purple Ice it seems to reduce the boiling point of Water, which lowers the air bubbles, causing more cooling/contact ratio.

Not sure what is Motorex G30 and G48, but what I see on Rocky Mountain ATV's site is Motorex coolant M3. Coolant color is used to distinguish different manufacturer's products, it really doesn't indicate compatibility. The greater coolant to water, the lower the freezing point, and the greater the water to coolant, the faster heat can be removed from your cooling system.BMW Coolant has mix ratios depending on minimum temperatures reached on the back of the bottle, so no, your 60/40 statement for all situations is incorrect. Based on the vehicles listed on the image, it appears that the OAT or HOAT are best for European vehicles, such as the KTM. I feel that KTM is trying to direct folks to Motorex instead of helping consumers find affordable quality products that can easily be purchased.
