About this deal

Im not going to say anything about the Game or the Characters, because its just good music, regardless of the fact that both are good.

The collection features tracks that were "silently" added to Minecraft during it's music updates and a few that never officially entered the game. In 2015, after quietly self-releasing Minecraft Volume Alpha and Minecraft Volume Beta, Rosenfeld partnered with Ghostly International to reissue Minecraft Volume Alpha on vinyl and CD.However this time I actually did use Moog synthesisers, along a lot of other synths that I acquired over the course of making this album. Best known for his original soundtracks to Minecraft, the single best-selling video game of all time, he's developed a discography of instrumental music over the last decade that traverses electronic pop patterns, neo-classical dreamscapes, and sparse ambient motifs. On some vinyl pressings, lenticular printing is used to give depth to the blocks in the image and highlight the inner grass block.

Additionally, this soundtrack contains the collectible records, which are little vinyl songs you can find in Minecraft, the game. The name Daniel Rosenfeld may not mean much to most people, but under the alias C418 he is responsible for the soundtrack to ‘Minecraft’, the single biggest selling video game of all time. For the legion of listeners and players to, at long last, have Minecraft Volume Beta in tangible formats.

The collection features tracks that were "silently" added to Minecraft during its music updates and a few that never officially entered the game. Minecraft is a community, a platform on which inventive minds of all ages can share their creations and ideas. It's insane how well "placed" such random defects are, the digital version doesn't do it for me anymore without those extra pops. otherwise my pressing is pretty solid, though i’m certainly taking some point off for the problems i had.I do love minimalism and achieving tones with just very few notes, and I think this song does that extremely well. Rosenfeld admits that the record is "extremely varied", being "much more percussive, melodic, and progressive" than Volume Alpha. This song tries to play with the idea that even hell isn’t all bad, and there’s good things to be found. Beginning 2” is just like “Beginning” on Alpha, perhaps the end to the album, or just the beginning.

Some of the songs even have percussion, which is something that was a complete rarity with Volume Alpha. the first two tracks of side D also have an annoying pop every second or so that takes from the experience a bit. As C418, composer and producer Daniel Rosenfeld designs sounds to resonate in both physical and pixelated realms. Biome Fest” is a song that I created when Minecraft Alpha was done, but I felt it had no place anywhere in the game, until the creative mode was sort of reintroduced to the game.Speaking of The End, it's a shame that the simulated locked groove isn't an actual locked groove, such a missed opportunity.
