"She is too grand to come" as said by Bump in "Brains". Clever figures Splendid would need someone of her "class" to attend the party. Bump had already invited the King so they figure that will do. In "Little Miss Splendid", which is her main character song, she speaks of how grand she is and the present Mr. Men join in to validate her claim. In the final act "Thank You For Everything" she comes in after Farmer Fields and the whole cast has said their goodbyes and leads the outro. Darla Dimple (Cats Don't Dance, both are vain, pamepered, bossy and spoiled rotten; while Little Miss Splendid is a little more nicer, Darla is the one who's more spoiled rotten)

Pristine Klimer (The Oblongs, both are have blonde hair and are vain, snobbish, beautiful, rich, spoiled, and sassy) On the DVD release of the 1983 series, her episode had a bit of dialogue muted out. The reason is unknown. This also happened to Little Miss Bossy. The dialogue remained in the Sunday Times promotional DVD, however.
