After having seconds of sundaes, and taking some time to pray a house blessing, it was time to hug and bid each other adieu. But we put a date on the calendar to give our little lady a proper birthday celebration with family three weeks later. And we had such a sweet time, I decided to snap some pictures so I could share some of my favorite party details from Juniper’s Ice Cream Themed Birthday Partywith you all.

I don’t know about you, but there is something so satisfying about making large scale projects – but sometimes large projects can be a little intimidating. For years, I’ve wanted to give you a step-by-step tutorial on how to create one of my favorite large scale projects: wrapping paper. I want you to really get it, understand the process and feel empowered to design your very own wrapping paper for any gift you have to give. I knew the tutorial would have to be good and you would need to feel like I’m right there with you! Welp, today’s the day! Today, I’m coming into your home, I’m traveling with your inside your phone…however it is you plan to view this video, I’ll be right there with you showing you the steps for how to design and print your own wrapping paper. Okay, here’s another sweet shot of our little mama. She can turn anything into a “baby.” Even an ice cream cone shooter. Though I still can’t find the boxes with our batteries or Mark’s watch, I somehow managed to find my old bottle of Elmer’s spray adhesive. Poke the skewer through the bottom of your cone and into the ground.Here’s where the magic happens! When you’re ready to put out your ice cream cone lawn decor, you’ll poke the skewer through that hole in the bottom of your cone and right into the ground where you want it displayed. For some folk, a party theme might turn them into a stress-ball. But for me, it’s a fun way to hone in my focus and also spark some creativity. Before you learn how to design and print your own wrapping paper, you’ll need to have a few very important items: Change the value in the “Horizontal” field to “12” since this is the exact width of my seamless pattern. You may need to select a different number depending on the width of your seamless pattern design. Juniper comes from a long line of ice cream lovers. Her grandpa–my dad–is a true fanatic. And with our Orlando temperatures hitting the nineties everyday, nothing sounded quite as refreshing as sitting poolside with a bowl of frozen goodness to enjoy. Like I said, I’m not a big cook, but an easy-to-assemble side like the Caprese Pasta Salad is just my type! And it was a hit with the guests.
