About this deal

As the Addon C10 is to the Addon C3, similarly the Drumfire’s better-honed talents run further than the added power and bottom end over its family members – it is again a step up in terms of performance across the board. It’s hard to think of a less frustrating setup process. The Audio Pro software searches through all available items attached to the home network (with the possibility of manually inserting any that aren’t already tethered), and they’re all there for you to manipulate. The Audio Pro Addon C3 perfectly blends contemporary and traditional styles. The speaker’s rectangular design is simple and sophisticated, thanks to its rounded corners.

By adding proper multi-room features to its fantastic Addon speakers, Audio Pro has answered many people’s prayers. The C3, C5, and C10 are industry-leading speakers in their own category. Class-leading C5 speakers were well accepted by the public and audio enthusiasts. It has two siblings, C3 is the smaller and portable one, C10 is the biggest of the bunch. In this review, we will talk about the multiroom lineup and share our verdict after testing the audio products. Speakers Each speaker looks like the face of a ‘koala bear’ from the front. It is a distinguishable body design which is also the driver configuration. Equipped with a pair of 2cm soft dome tweeters and mid/bass drivers (and reflex ports, incidentally) growing in line with the cabinet. The Addon C3 has a 9cm woofer, the Addon C5 and Addon C5A have a 10cm woofer, and the Addon C10 has the highest at 13cm. The Class D optical amplification’s power output increases in equal increments: 15W, 40W, and 80W, respectively. These are limited to optical and analogue auxiliary - though with a 3.5mm-to-RCA cable included, connecting to pretty much any existing set up could hardly be easier. Derived from a multi-award-winning speaker range, the Addon C3 boasts the best sound quality at its price. Twin treble units combined with a dedicated woofer give strong dynamics, punchy bass and natural-sounding vocals. Audio Pro's advanced audio technology and acoustic experience provides a speaker with a big sound from a small box. This speaker also excels at creating an expansive soundscape. The speaker produces clean, distortion-free sound even at high levels using а proprietary digital Class-D amplifier technology developed by Audio Pro. Also, digital signal processing (DSP) technology is incorporated into the speaker to further improve the quality and balance of the output signal. However, if you want to know Jbl Xtreme and Onyx Studio, then you can take a look at our article. That might grab your attention for a bit. Multiroom performance Of course, that size is one of the AddOn C3’s other big strengths. It stands under 12cm high and weighs just over 2kg, while the built-in lithium-ion battery will comfortably last for up to 15 hours at half volume or nine hours playing at full-tilt. All that makes it a brilliant speaker for outdoors or on the move, connecting to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth or the 3.5mm aux in. The key behind Audio Pro speaker’s superior audio quality is its extensive engineering experience and research and development, resulting in groundbreaking, patent inventions. The ACE-Bass technology plays a big part here, their way to magically get more and better bass from small speakers. However, the company is dedicated to creating better devices every day. The employees use prototype devices at home to continue their tests to perfection. This is a company that strives for greatness in terms of audio. Audio Pro multiroom lineup The sound of both C5 and C10 felt very self-assured. Every song or podcast was almost exactly like it should sound. The power usage is double on the C10 which is normal for its larger footprint and heavy sound output. There was a good bass response from both. The bigger C10 weighs more and also performs louder than C5. In a small room, the C5 will perform fine but outside it might struggle. The app is good too, it’s easy and fast to set up. You can also buy 2 or more products and link them for the multiroom feature. It will enable you to play all the devices at the same time.

The Audio Pro Addon C3 supports all the main streaming services, including Tidal, Spotify, Qobuz, and Apple Music. If you use a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi link, the setup is easy. When configuring a multi-room setup, the app looks for other Audio Pro speakers on the same network in the region. The original C10 was a multi-Award winner, so the fact the MkII manages to improve on its sound quality at all is nothing short of a miracle. The MkII's updated port design results in noticeable gains through the low end, while bass is marginally cleaner and tighter. The performance is a touch more expansive too, particularly through the lower registers.Without losing its predecessor's impeccable timing, the new C10 MkII offers a slightly more even presentation. We stream Daniel Avery and Alessandro Cortini’s Illusion Of Time and are treated to a neutral and transparent presentation where each musical passage and atmospheric element is given its due diligence. Leading edges of notes throughout the more lyrical passages are clearer and more perceptible.

The Sonos Move's battery life is a respectable 10 hours, with a one-hour charge restoring around 50 per cent, and three hours seeing it fully refilled. The C3 is a perfect small speaker. It has all the features you need for your home. You can also carry it around with you and use it at remote places other than your house. The built-in battery can give you audio wherever you like. It will last up to 15 hours on a single charge. This Audio Pro Portable Speaker is one of the best out there. On the other hand, C5 doesn’t come with any battery so that’s a downside. But the superior audio performance makes up for it. The bigger driver and woofer size means more loud and crisp sound from the C5. the power is also more on the C5. wireless support lets you connect your device easily with the help of wifi. Also, the speaker grille is constructed with a high-strength, long-lasting cloth that will not tear or wear out easily. Therefore, this speaker has a solid, well-constructed feel in your hands and a high-quality build. The C3 manages to sound weighty, delving deep and rendering each note with detail and texture. By multi-room speaker standards, this is a remarkably refined performance. Verdict If you have listened to one of Audio Pro’s Addon speakers before, the new signature should still be recognisable. Thanks to the physical design of its speakers, Audio Pro has always managed to give a great deal of body to its sound, and that is still the case. That slightly altered reflex port is still doing a job supporting the taut low-end delivered by the Addon T3+’s woofer, and the richness of its tone is present right the way up through the register as the tweeters reach their highest note.

Sound performance

As part of the C-Series, you can link together several speakers for effortless, multi-room sound. Controlled via a dedicated app, setting a multi-speaker system up around your home is easy. Thanks to Internet connection via Wi-Fi, there’s no need for any wires between rooms, either. Even more impressively, you can incorporate old Bluetooth-only Addon speakers*, by using a C3, C5 or C10 as a parent speaker. (*Audio Pro ADDON Link 1 required for function support). If you’re waiting for a ‘but’, here it comes. In the same way that we prefer the older model’s leather handle and grille-free aesthetic, it proves a touch more sonically enthusiastic, lively and fun, if a little less refined, than the new speaker. Wireless music in all your rooms with real HIFI sound quality. That’s what this multiroom addon lineup brings to you. Play whatever you want from your whole house. The Audio pro multiroom speakers deliver a full HIFI experience to enhance all your music. With great audio quality the Audio Pro Addon C3 vs C5 vs C10, and drumfire speakers deliver your music in style. For those who own the previous C10, Audio Pro says the C10 MkII can be used as the master speaker with the older versionfollowing a firmware update. Indeed, after setting up the older C10 through the Audio Pro app, we are able to use it as the master and sync the MkII with it for multi-room audio. The location of the controls is a particularly noteworthy component of the design. Easily accessible from the speaker’s top, they can adjust the volume and other settings. Sо, the input, power, and volume controls are conveniently placed, and the LED indicators make it easy to see the speaker’s current condition.
