In Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 Rebellion, a GM Sniper Custom belonging to the 404th airborne unit provided sniper support to a team of RGM-79V GM Night Seeker in capturing the stolen RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis". It was fixed to an Assault Type Gunperry and destroyed a MS-05L Zaku I Sniper Type defending the Komusai II transporting the Gundam. However, due to dense fog and the destruction of the GM Night Seeker team, it was forced to retreat. In the SD Gundam G Generation series, the GM Sniper II's sniper rifle was erroneously depicted as a beam weapon consistently. This was not corrected until Genesis in 2016. The GM Sniper II was originally intended to be the same mobile suit as the GM Sniper Custom from Mobile Suit Variation, only redesigned. It was later retconned into a new model.

A pair of beam sabers could be optionally mounted on the right shoulder in place of the WAMMs, or on the right forearm. [1] [2] The beam sabers were held in hand when in use. At the top, Sei reaches the final area as Nils and China find Ricardo. As Ricardo warns them that Sei's Build Strike Cosmos is being used by the Mafia, Sei also figures out the truth. The Mafia leader has set the Gunpla to an auto pilot level beyond the maximum, forcing Sei to fight his own creation. However, Sei realizes that the Build Strike Cosmos has a weakness and exploits it, capturing the suit. The leader calls out Sei for his softness and shuts down the Build Strike Cosmos before revealing his real Gunpla, the massive Psycho GM. Sei fights the enemy, but is easily overpowered, only for the Meijin and Mao to come to his rescue. The leader then cheats, manipulating the Plavsky Particles to immobilize them when Nils, China and Ricardo come to their rescue. Despite this, the Psycho GM transforms and fire its scattering mega particle cannons that pins everyone down. A launcher system consisting of multiple missile containers fitted on a base unit.
