Label.m Matt Paste produces a low-shine finish that’s best suited to messier and more textured hairstyles. You don’t need to use much of it with each use, however. So, although you don’t get much for your money in terms of volume, a tub (either 50ml or 120ml) does last pretty long.I thought the finished effect was very striking, and was surprisingly absorbent, which could be a great advantage compared to other mediums. I’d say the finish was low shine or natural-finish and gradually dulled as the day progressed which was absolutely fine. Whilst both the Matt Clay and Paste have, and no surprises here, a matt finish, they have different shines, sheens and secureness. This clay is dry, with a medium hold and low sheen finish. No shininess here without the aid of your versatile beard oil. Alternatively, the paste is medium shine, medium hold, with a natural-looking sheen. The shape and structure the Label.m Matte Paste gives to the hair can be quite durable. For shorter styles it can last through most activities, but of course, it gets a bit greasy the more it needs to be reworked. Since the paste gives quite a lightweight hold, you might still find your hair falling apart throughout the day. You should be left with no clumps and no residue – just a gentle shine on your palms. 3. Apply And Distribute

Now that you’ve achieved a good distribution of the label.m throughout your hair, start styling as you desire. It has some resistance to water and sweat. In fact, I even feel like it reacts with the sweat and boosts the hold and messy texture at times. I feel rinsing the product out with warm water still leaves my hair a bit greasy, but with the use of decent shampoo it washed out without a problem. FINISHED LOOK 6.4/10 Upon the initial applications you can feel the activation of a strong hold and tact straight away, but this tact fades the more the hair is reworked leaving a slightly more natural feeling.

It’s a pretty expensive product but considering the quality of the finish and ease of application, it’s just about justified.
