You can use any pressureless tennis ball with your machine, but there are only a handful of premium options I’d recommend, and Spinfire’s are some of the best. My research led me here and I am glad I did. I saw it on YouTube, spoke to the company and pulled the trigger. Yes it was expensive but when you amortize it, really its not compared to the cost associated with some other sports. I took a lesson or two and watched a ton of videos. I think a ball machine will bring you up faster as long as you are aware enough to self diagnose with the use of cell phone videos. This is working for me. A lot of good players and the teaching pros now come up to me and say “man your strokes are solid” No way they would say that in the beginning of the summer. I have a long way to go but it’s fun and great exercise.When I did the diligence to compare it to other products, I called the major companies to ask about the product, and was instantly sold on Spinfire because of the knowledge, and confidence in, the product that Spinfire’s team conveyed. My calls made me conclude that Spinfire was more modern and better built, and would support the product better. I store spinfire2 on my teaching court with the special spin fire balls, and I can set it up, ready to go in less than five minutes easily. Spinfire offers a lithium battery with better play time performance and shorter charge times. If you’re an instructor who needs more life out of your battery, then it’s an excellent investment. Weight Both of these tools will improve your data collection during a practice session and help you get a better grasp of your progress.
