OP could not have 2 sound servers running, inxi reporting PipeWire running was a known false positive In addition to that, I want to mention that I have already tried countless solutions that I have found on forums and other online sources and nothing has worked for that. Furthermore, I have attempted to solve this issue on multiple linux distros, and the issues persists across all of them.On pavucontrol, it shows that sound is being played although it can't be heard. I would really really appreciate any help.

I have reinstalled Windows 11 three times, with the last time doing a complete rebuild with no personal files or apps kept. Immediately, after reinstalling Windows 11, the problem still exists! The laptop gets fairly warm, but remains relatively quiet. The charger has a nice size and weight, but charging is done in no time and the battery lasts quite a long time. In another review I had already read that the laptop got very hot. That was indeed the case, really very hot. The manufacturer indicates that this should not be the case and advises to reset the laptop and update the driver. I haven't tried that. ASUS has equipped this notebook with an all-metal body.
